The economy driven by the agricultural development led by fishery and animal husbandry will multiply the development of the state. This was opined by the minister for Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare minister Krushna Chandra Patra while inaugurating the Matsya Pranee Samabesh in Bhubaneswar.
The minister for Fisheries & Animal Resources Development, Gokulanand Mallick said the Fisher & Animal Resources farmers will be the driver for the growth of developed Odisha. The government is now planning to double the income of these farmers in the coming days.
Suresh Kumar Vashishth, principal secretary, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development; D V Swami, chairman, MPEDA; World Fisher Director General, Ehsan Yasin Mohamad and other departmental officers apart from a number of delegates from various farmer groups were present. While director Fisheries Mohammad Sadik Alam welcomed the dignitaries, Managing Director OMFED Vijay Amrita Kulange offered votes of thanks.
